The corona virus pandemic has dramatically changed the way we live in today’s society. Businesses remain closed, activities and events have been cancelled or postponed indefinitely, and almost every business required a mask to enter. The Villages, being a retirement community that offers activities, events, shopping, and entertainment to its residents was especially impacted by COVID-19.
However, although a lot has changed and entertainment is scarce, residents of The Villages have not let the virus interfere with their fun.
We asked residents on social media what some of their favorite things to do during the COVID-19 pandemic and we received a lot of great answers.
While a lot of residents stated that they are using the time to catch up on yard work, reading, or binge watching Netflix, a large number of residents say they still are enjoying some of the great activities The Villages has to offer.
Here is a list of the top twelve activities you can do to get out of the house during the COVID-19 pandemic.
